The Critique was founded two years ago by two students from the University of Lincoln, UK. With no real clear objective, the online publication was designed, built and operated by both founders to simply produce critically engaging content that critiqued important social and political events.
In two years our ideas have developed and so did our goals. Our objective is to bring to light cultural movements, ideas and individuals, and inspire positive change by providing a platform for young people. Real change is in not making the same mistakes again.
The Critique is operated by two teams, one based in London, UK, and the other based in Brussels, Belgium. This is the application page to join the London UK team.
We are looking for like-minded individuals to help grow the publication. The preferred candidates will live in Manchester or London.
Our contributors are dedicated to developing a field or campaigning for change that benefits us all, in whatever capacity. We are looking for more people like that and welcome the opportunity to publish work that offers insight, solutions and positive change. Apply now by sending us your CV and a one-page cover letter explaining how your experience and passion matches the position. All applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
We are forever in need of illustrations to complement our investigations, projects and articles – with the very real chance of them appearing on video and documentary specials. If you are looking for the chance to showcase your talents on a rapidly developing platform with a growing audience then please apply. To apply for this position, please send us your CV and a one-page cover letter explaining how your experience and passion matches the position. All applications should be sent to email@example.com
Please be advised that The Critique does not make a profit and cannot offer payment for work – this is entirely voluntary until the organisation has the capacity to do so.
